I personally have never used Advil, even for headaches. So at first, I did not know much about Children's Advil. My 2 year old rarely ever got sick, but about 2-3 weeks ago, he woke up at 4:30 in the morning with a fever of over 103. MY first reaction was to take him straight to the emergency room. But my husband reminded me that we had plenty of fever reducer. Without even thinking about it, I reached for the Children's Tylenol to reduce the fever. It worked, and he went back to sleep. 

About 8 in the morning, his fever has still spiked to 103. I then busted open the Children's Advil Sugar Free Pain Relief. His temperature slowly started to drop through out the next couple of hours. I was very impressed with how fast acting the Children's Advil was.

As far as the smell and taste, well the smell was pretty good. It did not smell like a strong medicine. As far as taste, I did not taste it but like most kids, it was hard to get him to take it. It comes with a cup, but I placed the medicine into a syringe and gave it to him like that. It seemed a little easier doing it that way.

The only other thing that I was not impressed with was the writing. The instructions and ingredients is very small lettering. I had a hard time reading it, even when I put my reading glasses on. I know most medicine is every 6 hours, but there are some that is every 4 or even every 8.

All in all, my son got over his fever within a couple days and started eating and drinking more. 3 weeks later, and he is 100 percent!

iPhone 6 Plus Case - IceFox Crystal Clear Case Bumper

IceFox has always been a big hit in our family. Their products are always pretty strong and sturdy. This case was a little different though. Although the iPhone case is made to fit the speakers, the camera and other ports, I found it a little like it was made for looks rather then for protection. The case is very light but it was built to provide well rounded protection. I was actually afraid to drop it to see if it would protect the phone. I honestly don't feel like this ultra slim case would protect much at all. 

It states that the surface is fingerprint resistant. That is, if you don't have anything on your fingers. If you put a dry finger on the case then yes, it will not show. But if you just ate something that is a little greasy, and you even dried your hands off first, the finger print will show.

It also has an anti-dust plug headphone jack. I love this feature. I have always hated trying to clean a headphone jack. It is such a small port. I also love all the cute dust plug charms that are out there (that is a plus!)

Another thing that I do like about this case, is that it is clear. I can decorate it however I want to. Some people like the look of the iPhone and choose to keep the clear aspect of the case. I on the other hand, love a little color or design.

Personally, if you think that you won't drop your phone or not looking for a case for protection, then the IceFox Crystal Clear Case Bumper is for you. If you want protection, I would go for an otterbox case,. They have double protection (a gel lining and then a thicker case that pops on top of the gel lining).

My Experience:
So first of all, I do not really have that much 'lingerie' so I placed mine and my husbands socks into one of the medium bags, placed my two son's socks into the second medium bag, placed my sons pajamas into the white large bag and placed some of my sons darker pants unto the large black bag. They fit nicely and were very easy to zip. At first I thought maybe I had placed to much into the bags, but after washing them and drying them, you could smell the laundry detergent on them (meaning to me, that they were cleaned).

The first load I only added the 4 bags to the wash then placed them into the dryer. I placed 1 dryer sheet in the dryer. All the clothes were dried and no static! When I turned the dryer on, I barely heard any noise from the mesh bags. Funny thing though, one of the bags I did not zip up all the way past the zipper guard and the clothes still stayed in the bag. I was actually pretty impressed with it.

My second load I changed it up a bit. I placed the 4 bags into the washer, along with some shirts. I then placed them into the dryer. I added 1 dryer sheet and turned it on. After the timer went off, I expected the clothes to still be pretty damp. They were fully dried. I really love the breathable mesh material.

i really love being able to keep all the socks in one place. It was so much easier to fold clothes when all our socks were in one bag and all my sons were in another bag. I think it cut my laundry time down by a few minutes.

The Lansinoh mOmma Bottle with NaturalWave Nipple was clinically proven to reduce nipple confusion with breastfed babies. Meaning they were able to switch from breast to bottle and back to breast without problems. The silicone nipple enables the baby to engage in the natural sucking actions that were learned at the breast. Which made things much easier for baby.

The Lansinoh mOmma Bottle is BPA and BPS free and it can also be used to store breast milk in either the refrigerator or the freezer. They are also compatible with the Lansinoh Signature Pro and manual breast pumps.

My Personal Experience:

I breastfeed my baby whenever he needs to be fed, duh. On occasion, it is nice to take a little break, or more like, give my breasts a break! It was also nice to see my husband bond with out little boy. It was simple to place breast milk into the bottle and feed it to my son.

We tried other bottles before receiving the Lansinoh mOmma Bottle and at first it was rough. He had the hardest time latching onto the nipple of the bottle. Sometimes, the milk would leak from the corner of his mouth. Resulting in a mess that just was not necessary. Many of them had a very long nipple and very wide bottom. He latched on with ease with the mOmma bottle. The nipple of the bottle is not long and it slowly curves into the base of the nipple. It isn't wide either.

He didn't choke as if he was getting too much too fast, which I expected to happen. It was nice to see him suck on the bottle with ease, and then easily latch back onto the breast.

Pros:

• Baby can easily latch onto bottle's nipple and then back to the breast with ease.
• Perfect size to easily put into diaper bag or even a purse.
• Clear measurements on the back.
• Slow flow nipple lets the baby eat without taking too much in at once.
• Thick silicone nipple, which does not tear easily.
• Easy to clean.
• Fits into bottle warmers nicely.

Cons:

• Hard to tell sometimes if the lid is secured tightly.
• Often time milk will leak from where the cap is screwed onto the bottle.
• Sometimes, milk will leak from where the nipple is placed inside the cap.

All in all, it is a good bottle to have on hand, specially for those who breastfeed and bottle feed.

Julius Jr Invento Cycle

Julius Jr, Invento cycle is a pull back and watch it zoom by type of toy. Although he is not pictured in this photo as my son has "misplaced" the cute little monkey figurine. Also known as, Julius Jr. 

At first I did not think it would go so fast, but it keeps up with most of my sons other pull back cars. Julius doesn't stay in the motorcycle very well though,. It would have been nice if there was a little connector inside that would actually hold him. I also enjoy the rather simple colors of it. My son loves blue and is constantly showing me and pointing to the toy saying, "blue".

I also really like that there aren't any small pieces to this toy. Therefor kids won't be able to choke on any pieces. It is very simple and basic but fun for a 2 year old. Although my son loves cars of any type so he could play with it all day. 

And of course dad loves to play with the toy as well. Sometimes I find him playing with it rather than our son! It's what guys do!

Children 'n Us Stroller Organizer is a bag that you can rely on regardless of where you are heading. The best aspect of the bag is that it can strap onto the stroller and even the front of a bicycle. It has storage compartments on the inside, as well as some on the outside of the bag. It makes your traveling rather easy, a lot easier to carry this bag rather then a huge diaper bag.

It's one of the larger stroller organizers on the market. It has a pocket that you can put your phone (or anything you would like of course), a velcro pocket to hold other items such as pacifiers, there are two insulated bottle spots (I used it for my sons sippy cup and the other for my drink), a zipper pocket to store more important items such as your keys and then of course, the big inside to carry diapers, wipes and even a change of clothes!

It has an adjustable strap that will attach onto pretty much anything. It fit on both the umbrella stroller and the bigger travel sized stroller that we own. It can be used for more than just a stroller/diaper bag. You can put your kids favorite toys in there along with a drink and put it in the car for a car organizer just for your kids items.

I used it like a diaper bag/hand bag. I put my sons diapers, a sippy cup, a change of clothes and wipes into it. Along with a drink for myself. I could have put a lot more into it but I only brought the items I knew I really needed.

I love that it is a nice black bag. I love all the pockets and how convenient the bag is. It is a perfect fit for our umbrella stroller when we go out for walks. Upon adding all the items into the bag, I found that it was actually much lighter then carrying his diaper bag. The diaper bag is so big that I have a ton of extra space and it just goes to waste. I like having something simple and compact. I especially love that my husband can find everything when I ask him to grab our sons diapers or a toy, etc. Very organized!

It feels nice to put a load into the wash, and after it is done, being able to smell the refreshing scent of citrus on your clothes. I don't know about you guys, but the smell of all those clean clothes, it is amazing! I may just have to try all the scents and keep them stock piled!

Dead Sea Salt Soap - 100% Natural Face and Body Soap for Dry Skin

First let me say that I am not a huge bar soap person because it always leaves my skin feeling very dry and itchy. This product on the other hand, was very different. I am not going to say that it has completely changed my mind on my view on bar soap, but Adovia 100 percent natural bar soap is definitely a good bar soap in my opinion. 

This moisturizing mineral soap is infused with 100 percent Dead Sea Salt from the Dead Sea. The Sea Salt contains over 21 minerals that are key to healthy skin and beauty! This particular soap is great for dry and normal skin. It provides moisture and hydrates the body. Not to mention that it can be used for a daily moisturizing facial cleanser. 

After viewing the product description, I noticed that it hydrated the body. Of course that was pretty obvious to me once I was done using it. I naturally have pretty dry skin, so getting out of the shower after using bar soap and not itching was a plus for me. I do want to say that it worked great on my stretch marks. I am currently pregnant, and having itchy skin from that does not help. I loved the feeling of hydration from using this on my sides and stomach (which is where the stretch marks happen to be). I must say that it has a strong smell, but it is not overwhelming. Meaning you can still smell the soap after rinsing, drying, getting dressed and leaving the bathroom. It has a very natural and refreshing scent. Very relaxing.

The only thing that I found that I did not like about the soap was, although it does not leave residue on your skin after rinsing, but it does leave some white residue on the bottom of the tub after the water has completely drained. It was all over our bath tub mat. It is not a huge deal but we do have to rinse it off every time the soap was used. (I do have to say that the soap is now gone. It was used every shower time!)

All in all, I really liked the soap. As I mentioned earlier, it does not completely change my thoughts on other bar soaps, but it has opened my eyes to Dead Sea Salt Soaps!

Pet Urine Stain Finder

This urine pet finder is a blacklight flashlight and is perfect for all pet owners. Can you smell urine but just can't seem to find where it is coming from? This little handy flashlight will show you where the stain is coming from. the blacklight will show you the stain that you cannot see with your eyes under normal lighting.

This product works by reacting with certain chemicals in the urine that fluoresce under ultra violet light. The stains will light up under the blacklight.

My experience:
I love the fact that it is a small flashlight and does not take up a lot of space. It works best if you wait until it is pretty late at night. I did it around 9 pm when it was darker. I turned the lights off and I knew there was a spot that one of the dogs had an accident at. I could not see the stain under the blacklight. Which does not mean the product does not work because I could have cleaned the stain up pretty good. I then knew that the couch might be a place to look. To my surprise, it was a mess. I was so scared to even sit on the couch after seeing what mess the animals had left on the couch. The light literally lit up my couch like a Christmas tree!

I also tried next to the cat box. I was not surprised at how much of a mess it was over there. the whole corner was covered with stains from urine. I never new how many stains there could be from your animals until I looked under the blacklight.  I honestly am scared to continue to use it, as I don't want to see anymore horrible messes!

My final thought:
I would recommend this product to pet owners. It is light weight and only takes a couple batteries. We have 3 dogs and 5 cats, so I am sure it will work if you have a few more pets then most :)

So today I thought of doing something a little different! I thought I would write about Swaggable! For those of you that do not know what it is, stay tuned because I will be explaining it and giving you my honest review about it!

First let me begin by saying that Swaggable is a company that allows individuals to connect with them and are offered free samples of newer products that you, the user are interested in trying. Doesn’t sound like a bad idea? The only thing they want is an honest review! You are even offered coupons throughout your free membership!

Here are a few simple steps so you can better understand what Swaggable is all about.

First you tell them what YOU want! They give you a category and you tell them whether you are interested in that or not! Then they send you products based on what you actually like.

Second is once you signed up, they start looking for samples for you right away! You will always get an email and/or notification from them letting you know that there is a product waiting for you to accept! The only thing is it’s on a first come first serve basis so try to act quickly and accept the invitation. Then all you have to do is wait 1-2 weeks after the ship date to receive your product.

Third, after you receive your product, try it and review it! Swaggable makes it easy for you to write your review. It does not need to be written on your blog, it is just a simple, honest review on their site under the product you received. They also allow you to share the review on Facebook and Twitter! They do notice the users who write good reviews and those individuals are given a priority for new products. So give it the best you got.

Then, after that, you wait for another notification to pop up in your profile and do the same process!

Now onto my experience!

I have been with Swaggable for a little over a year now. I have only received 3 products to try and review. Let me say that this is not their fault. I had forgotten to log into my Swaggable account for a few months and noticed that I had missed 4…yes I said it, 4 invitations. So from my own experience, keep a look out on your profile because they come and go very fast!

The site itself is a bit confusing at first. They recently changed the look and feel of it. Once you get a hang of it, it is pretty simple. You can follow your friends, make new friends and read other people’s reviews.

If you ever have a question, they have a section for faq’s. Also they allow you to email them and they respond fairly quick. Let me remind you, they are a big company so do not expect your answer to be answered in an hour. It took them a day to get back to me and I was very pleased with the answer. They do not send you in circles. They get back to you with a full answer.

The products I tried were a protein bar, a face mask and all natural hemp hearts. They have a wide variety of products to test and review. It is a great way to get you introduced to new things and to get your honest opinion about the products to those companies looking for your opinion.

My personal experience:

I took these when I started to feel fatigued, which is usually around 3pm. I felt a slight boost in energy, no bloated feeling, no crash, although I could feel when it was wearing off because I felt like I was going back to my "normal" feeling. I noticed that I felt hungry faster, as if the pills were helping my metabolism regulate. I could concentrate longer and I felt like my mind was much clearer. 

The pill is a natural herb, so if you prefer not to take a pill, you can open them up and add it to water and/or tea. I was able to easily swallow them. There was no taste, nor was there any weird after taste. They did not have a smell to them, which is always a plus for me.

Cottonelle Clean Crew

As stated on their website, Don't just wipe, wash with Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths, and experience a more confident clean." 

These wipes are flushable and since they break up after flushing, they are sewer and septic safe! They are alcohol free and are great for everyone!

First let me mention that I received this product free from a community website called Crowdtap. You can do quick hits that will earn you points to be entered into monthly drawings. Prizes include gift cards! You can also have the chance to get into sample and shares and parties! I was able to get into the Cottonelle Clean Crew sample and share.

At first glance, it does not look like anything you would use to, well, wipe your bum with. It comes in a very sleek looking container, which blended very well in the bathroom. They pretty much look and feel like a baby wipe! I was a bit nervous to try it out because of if being a wet napkin, and wasn't to sure if it would be safe! But hey, we use them on babies bottoms don't we?

I used one and to be completely honest, one just doesn't feel right. One cloth is just to thin. I feel like my fingers are going to rip through it. To be honest, who uses only one sheet of toilet paper? I know I don't. 

I would buy these, since you can refill the container rather then going and getting rolls of toilet paper all the time. With my experience, I would use at least two wipes, just to make sure you get that clean feeling.

All in all, I recommend it!

Garnier Fructis triple nutrition oil

The Triple Nutrition Oil is a multi-use dry oil that can be used on your hair, face and body. It delivers rapid acttion nourishment to treat dry hair and skin without the oiliness! It contains three powerful oils. They include, avocado, olive and almond.

Being part of Bzzagent, you get to try products for free and then give your honest opinions. I was able to receive the Triple Nutrition Oil from Garnier Fructis.

They range from about 3-4 dollars at Walmart.

So I do not have EXTREMELY dry hair but the end of my hair look awful. Split ends galore!
I first applied the oil directly to my hair, if you put to much of it, your hair will look greasy. I put a little bit on my hair by my scalp and my husband said my hair looked so shiny and smelled great. He asked me what shampoo I was using. I clearly told him that it was just the oil! So I could tell that he really liked it!

Couple days later, I added the oil to my hands and then ran my fingers through my hair, just the bottom half though. To my surprise, I saw that my split ends looked a lot better! I found that putting a little of the oil on your hands first will make your hair look a lot less greasy.

But wait, there is more! The oil can also be applied to your body! I did not put any of it on my face because my face is already a combination of oil and dry. But I did put it on my arms and it looked really healthy and soft. But it did not last very long.

A little bit goes a long way! I swear I use this almost every other day and its not even half way empty! I would not really recommend using it every day. But you do want to apply it once your hair is slightly dry after getting out of the shower.

So all in all, I loved it in my hair, a no go on the face and as far as my arms, well the oil did not last very long so I would prefer using lotion for dry skin!

First impression: Oh great, another bar that will taste like cardboard. Oh lovely Coconut and Peanut Butter both in which I do not have a taste for. How could this be a snack, it sure doesn't look very filling.

My expectations: Something that has flavor, gooey and soft, not hard and crunchy, something to munch on for a quick snack BUT something that will hold me over until I make an actual meal. Something appealing to the eye because I have a hard time eating anything that just does not look good! And last but not least, something that I would actual consider buying in the future.

So, did the bar live up to my expectations?

1. This little bar is very gooey! So soft and tastes nothing like cardboard or protein bars.

2. The coconut and peanut butter blended so well that I had no problem taking bite after bite!

3. This little bar was something to munch on for a quick snack and held me over for 2-3 hours!

4. You could see the peanut butter drizzled over the bar, little pieces of coconut. Yum!

5. Would I buy it? OH YES I WILL! I could have a box in the cupboards every week!

It packs a punch! I love how this bar is nothing like a protein bar. It has so much flavor, and the gooey part is the best! This is the first bar that could mix 2 of the flavors that I do not particularly like and make it into something very appetizing!

Olay Fresh Effects Va Va Vivid

My personal experience:
At first when I opened the box, I was a little disappointed to see how small the brush was. When you think of a brush, you think of something with a larger brush head. Along with thicker brushes, in which this one has rubber like bristles. Also, the vibrations I did not think was something that was important. I felt like there would not be enough moisturizer.

After trying the product, I had a different thought about it!

As you can see, you only need a dab!

The rubber bristles felt a lot better on my skin then I expected. It was not hard so it did not hurt. I could feel the rubber bristles really getting into all the hard to reach places. The smell was not overpowering, how ever I did not really like the scent to it. It kind of had a weird alcohol mixed with lotion scent.

The brush was tiny, but it was easy to hold! The rubber made it less likely to slip out from your hands. The vibrations made it feel like it was massaging my skin rather than cleaning it.

It is battery operated so you can use it over and over again. You can also buy the moisturizer from the store. I did use another facial moisturizers and it did not change anything. So, feel free to use any type of moisturizer with the brush!

My personal experience? 
My biggest stresser is keeping the house clean while having a son who loves his toys! I am always rushing around trying to get everything put away. Stressed about knowing how it will look at the end of the day, let alone the end of the week!

Well, I finally used the Stress Protection in the morning. I was rushing around, stressed all day about the house, bills, my husbands work, everything you could imagine! In the afternoon, I usually notice how sweaty my armpits get. I looked down and to my surprise, there was no sweat to see! I was amazed at how this actually worked for me! Schick Hydro Silk Razor

Do you want silky smooth legs?! Then continue reading this review of the Schick Hydro Silk Razor! Each of the cartridges are filled with moisturizer serum that is activated when placed under water. It also contains Shea butter and is suppose to hydrate your legs longer than any other razor! The razor contains 5 blades which moves independently to help keep your skin soft! This is to help protect the skin from irritation because with 5 blades, it allows you to have fewer strokes. The "neck" part moves with your leg. Meaning it gets to those hard to reach areas like your knee. The last part, have you ever placed your razor under the water and then it slips through your hands? Well, the Schick razor has a rubber grip that allows you to keep hold of it better! Oh but wait, the starter kit also came with a suction to place it on your bathroom walls to store the razor!

I have decided to compare the Schick Hydro Silk Razor to the Original Venus Razor in which I have used many times.

The Venus Razor as 3 blades and it also has a rubber grip to keep it from slipping out of your hands. It has a blue line that will disappear when the serum has dissipated. It has a pivoting head for close shave around and on the knee. It too has a shower holder but it is much bulkier than the Schick Hydro Silk suction holder.

I have used this razor for years. The blue strip disappears quite fast, leaving bumps on my legs constantly. The Venus has 3 blades, whereas the Schick has 5 blades. The Venus gets a close shave, but it does not get close enough like the Schick. My skin feels silky soft after using both razors, but the Shea butter on the Schick makes my legs feel softer for a longer period of time. Both have a rubber grip, but the Schick has a thicker rubber grip that allows you to grip it more comfortably. They both have pivoting heads, but the Schick pivots father back to really get that close shave. As far as the shower holder, the one that came with the Venus was much bulkier and kept falling from my shower wall. I kept bumping it because it wasn't compact like the Schick razor. 

Now the only thing that I noticed is that shaving without shaving cream, both razors left my skin with bumps, or razor burn. BUT, the Venus left bumps on my legs even with shaving cream, whereas with the Schick, my legs were very soft.

Here you can see how smooth looking my leg is. This is using shaving cream with the Schick Hydro Silk Razor.

Here, you can see slight bumps and irritation from using just the razor. (But, it still has slight smoothness to it, I just do not like how it left bumps)

So, I would make the change to the Schick Hydro Silk Razor, your legs will thank you!
