Swaggable!

Hey everyone!

So today I thought of doing something a little different! I thought I would write about Swaggable! For those of you that do not know what it is, stay tuned because I will be explaining it and giving you my honest review about it!

First let me begin by saying that Swaggable is a company that allows individuals to connect with them and are offered free samples of newer products that you, the user are interested in trying. Doesn’t sound like a bad idea? The only thing they want is an honest review! You are even offered coupons throughout your free membership!

Here are a few simple steps so you can better understand what Swaggable is all about.

First you tell them what YOU want! They give you a category and you tell them whether you are interested in that or not! Then they send you products based on what you actually like.

Second is once you signed up, they start looking for samples for you right away! You will always get an email and/or notification from them letting you know that there is a product waiting for you to accept! The only thing is it’s on a first come first serve basis so try to act quickly and accept the invitation. Then all you have to do is wait 1-2 weeks after the ship date to receive your product.

Third, after you receive your product, try it and review it! Swaggable makes it easy for you to write your review. It does not need to be written on your blog, it is just a simple, honest review on their site under the product you received. They also allow you to share the review on Facebook and Twitter! They do notice the users who write good reviews and those individuals are given a priority for new products. So give it the best you got.

Then, after that, you wait for another notification to pop up in your profile and do the same process!

Now onto my experience!

I have been with Swaggable for a little over a year now. I have only received 3 products to try and review. Let me say that this is not their fault. I had forgotten to log into my Swaggable account for a few months and noticed that I had missed 4…yes I said it, 4 invitations. So from my own experience, keep a look out on your profile because they come and go very fast!

The site itself is a bit confusing at first. They recently changed the look and feel of it. Once you get a hang of it, it is pretty simple. You can follow your friends, make new friends and read other people’s reviews.

If you ever have a question, they have a section for faq’s. Also they allow you to email them and they respond fairly quick. Let me remind you, they are a big company so do not expect your answer to be answered in an hour. It took them a day to get back to me and I was very pleased with the answer. They do not send you in circles. They get back to you with a full answer.

The products I tried were a protein bar, a face mask and all natural hemp hearts. They have a wide variety of products to test and review. It is a great way to get you introduced to new things and to get your honest opinion about the products to those companies looking for your opinion.

This is my honest review of the company.

Schizandra is known as the five-flavor fruit; it has each of the five flavors (sweet, spicy, sour, salty, and acidic).  It’s one of the most famous herbs used in Chinese medicine. This herb is considered to be one of the premium mind tonics of herbalism. It is used to sharpen concentration, improve memory, and increase alertness. Yet, unlike caffeine-like stimulants, schizandra does not produce nervousness when increasing energy. In fact, some people consider schizandra mildly “calming” while producing wakefulness and improved focus.

I was given a 3 day sample to try, which included 4 pills to take every day for 3 days.

My personal experience:

I took these when I started to feel fatigued, which is usually around 3pm. I felt a slight boost in energy, no bloated feeling, no crash, although I could feel when it was wearing off because I felt like I was going back to my "normal" feeling. I noticed that I felt hungry faster, as if the pills were helping my metabolism regulate. I could concentrate longer and I felt like my mind was much clearer. 

The pill is a natural herb, so if you prefer not to take a pill, you can open them up and add it to water and/or tea. I was able to easily swallow them. There was no taste, nor was there any weird after taste. They did not have a smell to them, which is always a plus for me.
